San Diego

So.. Andrea and I drove down from SF to SD yesterday, she ended up deciding to hold onto my truck so those of you in the bay area may see it around now and then. we made it down in about 7 hours not great but not too bad, but the drive was painless and passed by quickly.. and I got ABBEYS!! woot! that was sweet, one of my few guilty little pleasures, ooh meaty!
unluckily my parents had forgotten that I was leaving the country so soon (my fault for not reminding them more) so my mother is out of town for about 1/2 of my stay down here. which is lame seeing how I came down here a week before I fly out to get to spend time with my parents.. oh well that's life.
Andrea is going to be hanging out for a about 2 days so we are going to try and run down into Mexico today or tonight which should be interesting... to say the least ;) how do you say "the hooker was already dead when I got here and thats definitely not my donkey officer!" in Spanish?
otherwise we are going to visit some of Andrea's piercer friends down here and the rest just play by ear.
Also it seems that the AdSense banners are working now, so when people click through the ads on my blogger page I get some money which is exciting! woot! I made $1.60 yesterday, which isn't a whole lot but enough for an hour on a computer in Thailand!
anyways I'll be down here till Dec 5th when I fly out to Bangkok, then I think I'm going to hop a bus (then boat) directly to Cho Chang. Which is an island south of Bkk where some friends live, and I have some of my stuff stored. it should be a good spot to chill out with people I know till I recover from jet lag.
also I heard that a bunch of the East Bay rats are headed to Chaing Mai around that time for bike week, so I may try to head up there... OK, I'm off to go forage for food.

it's Tuesday, I have my last drunken monkey tonight (my night at a night club) I'm feeling the weird calm in the middle of the storm. after running around like mad trying to see people before i go, making sure everyhing has a place and the huge mountan of bureaucracy that one must crawl out of it taken care of (it seems like so much of our life is spent tending to that machine, DMV reg, turning off the phone, tax shit, ect, ect, ect) I don't think i've even gotten all that crap taken care of from last time i left, but fuck it.. gotta break free of some of chains that....
anyways. :P
tonight monkey, going to try to sell off some of the last stuff I brought back from Thailand last time, don't think I'm going to bother with that again, didn't seem to be worth all the hasle. seems like some people are more cut out for that, shit I know one guy who easly payed off his trip with the load he brought back from thaiand a few months ago, but I'm not up on what over priced crap is selling nowadays.

off at a friends house, then hopefully get headed down south before it's too late. should take about 8 hours to get down there.
I'm still working on getting everything ready (palm life drive, ipod, ect) but normaly what ever takes up the most of you time and is the biggest pain in the ass, normaly is the least used/ useless... thats been true time and time again. but dealing with computer stuff out thee in a big old pain i the ass.... and I really don't want to have to worry about my laptop over there.. last time just hving the ipod with me was enough stree in it's self, but we shall see. if the adsence thing pays off, then it will be worth the time dealing with the palm computer for blogging.
all I have left is to grab some wool shirts from REI, a new pair of carharts (fuck totaly forgot about that till now, some books,, and i should be ok to roll. I'm sure tons more will come up at the last sec..
I think I'm going to wait till I get over there to pick up a small backpack, and a new camera..
still not sure exactly what the plan is for when I get there, but I always feel thats a better way to go.. then you don't have to change plans, fee that your stuck to a sedule ect... ok, i'm finishing this up after a long night at monkey (re connection crashing earlier) so my brain is 1/2 numb / gots the dumb.. time for a few hours sleep on Michael Monsters couch. before I need to spend (now) today running around like a decapitated chicken, and then driving for 8 hours..

Starting

So this is just a test, and may posably become the new home of my blogs. I'm trying to figure out a system were I can add adds and hopefully get some click through, which will hopefully off set the cost of going to internet cafes to post blogs and also hopefully motivate me to get my ass in gear and post more.
if this seems to work I'll post some back story and such.
I'm still a bit confused/surprised at the response to my previous blogs, and how much people were into them. but friends liked them so I tried to continue posting them (even though I have a strong aversion to opening up about my life...)
anyways, check this out. and hopefully I'll have something set up and running before I leave the country.
